As many of us begin planning our schedule for next month’s Ocean Sciences Meeting, we would like to bring your attention to several TOS activities where TOS members will have the opportunity to network, celebrate colleagues, and discuss ways to shape the future of The Oceanography Society.

TOS will share Booth 109 with AGU, ASLO, and the U.N. Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. Please come by to say hello!

TOS Strategy 2030 Survey
TOS members who complete the survey can drop by the TOS booth to receive a concession voucher!

TOS Honors Breakfast

Please join your fellow TOS members at the TOS Breakfast where we will recognize recently selected TOS Honor recipients. Several hundred TOS members attend this event, which provides a great opportunity for networking in a relaxed setting. And it’s free to all TOS members and guests! All seats for this event have already been reserved; please contact Jenny Ramarui to see if any seats have become available due to cancellations.

Society Awards Plenary Session

Jane Lubchenco has been selected as the first recipient of the Mary Sears Medal. She will present a lecture during this session celebrating TOS, AGU, and ASLO science award recipients.

All members, partners, and friends of The Oceanography Society are invited to discuss ideas on programs and services that the Society can initiate over the next 10 years. TOS Strategy 2030 Retreat

The goal of this gathering is to bring together TOS members and leaders to discuss ways to enhance existing TOS programs and create new initiatives that can provide long-term value to members.
