This course will take participants through the changes to the Illinois Hearing Instrument Consumer Protection Act, that goes into effect on January 1, 2024.
These will include: over the counter and prescription hearing aids, the testing and test environments required for creation of the prescription, the components of the prescription, and the introduction of hearing aid technicians into practice.
The event will be led by Kim Cavitt, AuD from the Illinois Academy of Audiology.
