8:30 am - 12 noon. Training
Topics:
- Pre-Test and pre-survey
- War on Melanoma vision and research design
- Risk identification and USPSTF screening recommendations
- ABCDE and Ugly Duckling dectection methods and identifying non-melanoma skin cancers and other lesions
- Practice of visual identification of melanoma images
- Full body exams and teaching self exams including use of MoleMapper App
- Biopsy and pathology
- Case discussion and patient education
Noon - 1pm Lunch
1pm - 3pm. Optional: AAD SPOTme Skin Cancer Screening at Center for Health Healing FULL
Target Audience:
The information presented is relevant to a broad range of non-dermatologists and primary care providers, including physician assistants, general practitioners, internists and nurse practitioners.
