All Katie wanted was a life filled with love and happiness. She had the love of her husband, her family and her friends, but she wanted more. She wanted what she gave away years ago, a baby and she wondered if her current infertility was “punishment.” When she receives news that will forever change her life and fulfill an inner need, a horrific motorcycle accident will render her comatose and send her spiraling into a world of “in-between,” a world between the Earthly plane and the afterlife of death.

Two beings and the soul of her beloved dog will take her on a journey of self-discovery, acceptance and show her the strength of making things happen, instead of passively yearning.
When Katie awakens from her coma, she will find herself embroiled in family drama, legal battles and a realization that she will fight to earn what she wants.

CLOUD WHISPERS by Sedona Hutton is told in an almost dreamlike manner, softly as one woman finds joy in life, in the journey to realize her potential and the life she always dreamed of.

Strong spiritual aspects temper the hard facts of reality in a story that brings joy to an entire family and heals its past wounds. Blended with an earthy romance, this story is a wonderful escape into other lives with a touch of the unknown and the chance for happiness.

Have you ever considered how many people in this world simply "settle" for what they have in their life?  Getting up each morning and going to jobs which they hate.  Living in areas which make them unhappy.  Maintaining relationships with unpleasant and toxic individuals.  Sad to be sure... and usually done in an effort to keep the peace and please others.  However, the problem with living life as a "people pleaser" is that an individual is not really living their own life at all.  Everything is done for someone else.  Soul crushing to say the least.  In her novel Cloud Whispers, author Sedona Hutton presents just such a scenario.  For readers who enjoy literary fiction which is embedded with romance, spirituality and metaphysics, this novel will be right up your alley!

The novel begins with emotions running exceptionally high.  The main character, Katie, is being pressured by her father to find a "suitable" job and spend less time with Liam, who her father considers to be Katie's worthless husband.  To add to the pressure, she has just discovered the whereabouts of the child she gave up at birth when she was just a teenager.  Unsure if Liam will accept another man's child as his own, Katie becomes torn and distant from Liam.  How can she possibly work all this out in a way which will please everyone else?  A tragic motorcycle accident may very well be the catalyst to answer this question.

When Katie and Liam are involved in a motorcycle crash, Katie takes the brunt of the damage and becomes locked in a coma.  She then finds herself in a dreamlike state between Earth and the afterlife.  She is not alone however.  There are spiritual guides and even the soul of her dear departed dog to help her along the way.  However... which way will she actually choose?  As she watches her grief stricken family from her ethereal vantage point in the clouds, Katie begins to come to terms with how she has lived her life.  Will this realization come in time to propel her back to the side of her loved ones?  Or has the time truly come for her soul to enter the great beyond?

Make no mistake, this is not merely a book about a character who is at death's door struggling to rejoin her family.  There is much more to it than that.  Essentially, it is a story about self-discovery, intentionality, spirituality and most importantly...love.  While the theme of being true to one's self permeates through the novel, it is the devoted relationships which actually steal the show.  There is not only the powerful bond between Katie and Liam, but the book ultimately explores the love which exists among all the family members- even a departed dog!  Who could possibly not mist up when Katie encounters her deceased dog Bear in the clouds of  her transitional area?  It is all about the power of love.  When you throw in some steamy scenes with Shane and Liz, and the ongoing conflict with Katie's controlling father, you have a top-notch and absolutely engrossing story.

While the plot of the story is multi-faceted and intriguing, it is nonetheless truly a character driven novel.  There are many different and unique characters who are developed in great depth.  We are able to aptly explore their different backgrounds, mannerisms and discover what it is which ultimately drives them.  They are all very real and beautifully support the plot.  Without such genuine and believable characters the main theme would have stalled and sputtered.  Indeed, while Katie and Liam are the actual "main players", the story is really all about family.  As such they are all critical to the development of the story.  The author recognizes this fact and supports it with beautiful and flowing writing throughout the novel.  The scenes are detailed, engaging and emotional.

I would recommend this novel to all lovers of fiction.  It would neatly fit into the genre of literary or women's fiction, but I believe there is something in it which will resonate with all readers.

Cloud Whispers is a pretty good read. I found Katie Callahan’s story to be an emotional and powerful one. I found it be a unique and refreshing change to read. So many twists that I could not have predicted. Which made for a page turner for me. I did not want to put it down until I reached the end.

A give Cloud Whispers a well deserved 5+ stars. Sedona Hutton is being added to my must read author list.

Highly recommended.

I received this book from the author. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.

I enjoyed this book and the characters it portrayed. It’s a book that you need to be open minded to read. If you believe that all you can see is it, then you will not get the points this is trying to make at all.
That’s not a criticism just a fact.

I liked the concept of spirit guides and all our people watching over us, some people find it scary or creepy. Also this book is pretty open about sex and not sickly sweet so if you don’t like things to be written openly you might have a problem.

Wow it’s hard to pick a favourite character . I love the burgeoning romance between two unlikely characters whose names I won’t mention or I’ll spoil it! I love how Katie and Liam prop each other up when they are weak, and how this book is very character descriptive. It’s a real feel good book and shows how people can change by just giving a little.

It’s not my usual read but that said I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Would I read more by the author? A definite yes!

I was gifted a copy of this book from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review

Cloud Whispers is not your typical contemporary romance. Yes, there’s a romantic story, with love, obstacles to a relationship, and passion (and even sex). But this story is so much more. It’s a unique spiritual journey, with much depth and themes including: The Law of Attraction, living a life that makes you happy rather than placating others, facing your past and being able to accept your decisions, and when we’re given second chances, take them.

This was my first book from this author and I’ve become a fan due to her beautiful writing and emotional story-telling. Her characters have depth and grow throughout in ways that enhance the story, but also the reader can easily identify with. There are no perfect people here, as in real life. Watching the main character lose everyone she loved and struggle with wanting to return to her family, but not able to, made me yearn to give my own family a big hug.

I highly recommend this contemporary romance with a wonderful unique spin of spirituality and all the feels!

Sedona Hutton explores the connection between mother and child in Cloud Whispers! This was a touching emotional piece as Kate finds connection with her child through dreams. It’s a bit mind bending at times, but Hutton’s writing is packed with depth! Cloud Whispers is beautifully emotional, perfect for anyone looking for a good heart punch!

I read Sedona Hutton’s novel, Cloud Whispers in several different formats—paperback, e-book, and audiobook. It was fun to go back-and-forth among all three and a great way to get to know the author’s writing style and her interesting characters as the story progressed. But any way you read this novel, you’ll be hooked, as I was, from the very first chapter.

Out of the blue, the main character, Katie Callahan, receives a phone call from an attorney, telling her she’s been named guardian of her late cousin’s daughter, Savannah. Katie soon realizes Savannah is actually her own daughter, the child she’d given up for adoption twelve years ago. She’s filled with guilt and anxiety at first and is afraid to tell her husband, Liam, the truth. He knows nothing about this part of her past. Liam senses something is wrong and suggests they go for a ride on his motorcycle, something they both enjoy doing together.

In what seems like a blink of time, Katie wakes up from what she thinks is a bad dream—a horrible motorcycle crash on the back of Liam’s Harley. But she’s not in her bed dreaming, she’s in a big, white puffy cloud floating in the sky. From there, she can view everything happening in her real world. She realizes she’s actually in a coma, stuck in the clouds but with spiritual guidance from angel-like beings, Black Eagle and Posie. They somehow felt familiar to Katie, even though she had never met them. “We’re connected to you, Katie, we feel your love,” they tell her. She even reunites with her deceased dog, Bear, who is there to help too.

The novel cleverly weaves in and out of reality with Katie’s husband and family struggling to cope with her comatose state while Katie views life in a different dimension in the clouds with her newfound friends. In addition, everyone is trying to figure out their own lives and the different twists thrown at them, especially the arrangement made for Katie to become Savannah’s legal guardian.

Cloud Whispers is a wonderful, heartfelt story. It was written as a romance novel but it’s much more than that. The characters and their interactions with each other make for an interesting read by itself. But what takes this novel to another level is the message told within the story. It’s a novel about life lessons, a head and heart story about love with a spiritual theme—God is simply love. Cloud Whispers is not about religion though—not at all. It makes you think about spirituality and the possibilities of the unknown. But it also has enough steamy scenes to keep it real and exciting.

Cloud Whispers has many “what ifs” written into the story line. It made me think about life and the possibility of an afterlife. I found myself asking, “Can I learn to control my own destiny?” I especially liked chapter six, where the author suggests how the universe works. “Tranquility is an in-between dimension where you can experience both the love and light of the spirit world and at the same time maintain your tie, thus your emotional connection to your earthly existence.”

I believe Sedona Hutton has made this connection loud and clear throughout her novel. It has the right mix of traditional romance and women’s fiction, with a sprinkle of new age spirituality. I highly recommend Cloud Whispers to not only romance novel fans but to anyone who is looking for a great read and a great ride!

I give it five out of five stars!

Redemption and Reunion (an audio review)

What a wonderful audiobook. I loved it and although it was on the long side, it held my attention the whole time. Mare Trevathan’s narration was perfect as well. She hit every note, gave each character a distinctive voice, and provided me with an entertaining performance. She was a great choice to narrate this delightful book.

Katie Callahan is floundering in her life. Her parents don’t approve of her marriage, she doesn’t see her beloved elder sister enough, she’s lost her job, is facing infertility, and, suddenly, she’s facing the opportunity to right a wrong she committed years ago. Before dealing with any of this, though, she’s in a devastating motorcycle accident that leaves her in a coma. This was fascinating to me. I’ve wondered what happens to people while they’re unconscious. While they’re not aware of their surroundings or of the world around them. Katie’s journey was a pleasant one and I can only hope others experience something similar, even if they don’t remember when they awaken.

Katie meets her spirit guides who are there to help her navigate the treacherous journey of returning to her old life. Joining the guides is her beloved dog Bear who passed away a number of years ago. Having lost a dog years ago, I can still feel that pain acutely and would love to be reunited with her someday. But I digress. Katie has these guides to, well, guide her. To help her find a way to return to consciousness to face all the problems she’s had in the past. She’s been good about compartmentalizing her pain and trying to keep it hidden from her husband. He’s a good man who supports her at every turn but now she’s facing his reaction to her news and it’s daunting. Eventually she has healed enough to return to her old life to try to rebuild.

Things are a bit different, unsurprisingly. Her sister is now falling in love with her husband’s brother and is spending more time close to her. Her niece and stepdaughter have become close. Even her previously distant and cold mother is showing signs of thawing, having taken it upon herself to sit by Katie’s bedside and open a dialogue with her step-granddaughter whom she had previously pretty much ignored. Katie is also reunited with the love of her life and realizes she has one chance to put things to right.

As a someone who was adopted as an infant, I understand what Katie’s daughter was going through and although I’ve reunited with my mother and tried to understand her perspective, it’s a bit beyond my experience. It was a good reunion, though, and it gave me a chance to thank her. I’ve had a good life and it took a lot of courage for her to give me that opportunity. I was pleased Katie had a shot at a reunion with her daughter.

This is, as I’ve said, a wonderful book. It is Women’s Fiction with just a dash or romance – the way I like it. I felt empowered at the end of the book and enlightened. I cannot recommend this book enough.

This book was definitely unlike anything I’ve read before – and I do mean that in a good way!

I felt like this book took me on my own adventure through the clouds as I followed along Katie’s soul-searching journey.

This book focuses mostly on husband and wife, Liam and Katie and their love for each other that is tested after some old, buried secrets come to light. After a major motorcycle accident, Katie is in a coma. While in a dreamlike trance, Katie reflects on her life and the choices she’s made. One particular choice is the daughter she gave up as a teenager that has recently re-entered her life and how she’s kept that a secret all these years. Also, the fact that she is infertile and how that has played out with her family. Katie does some serious soul-searching and must decide what she wants out of life.

I really liked the main characters, Katie and Liam. They were relatable and genuine.

Over the course of the book it is revealed that both Katie and Liam have gone through some difficult trauma’s. This only makes them even more realistic and their shared damages seem to bring them closer together. I love these kinds of books that don’t make character’s lives seem “perfect.” Since no one’s real life is ever like that. I like the messy parts and Mrs. Hutton gives her readers just that.

I also enjoyed the secondary characters and how their stories unfolded while Katie was in the coma. It gave more context and told more to the story while also providing mini-stories that had their own tangents. It was very well developed and thought out.

This book has an interesting storyline that flows, terrific writing style with detailed scenes, fantastic characters, and keeps you entertained through the last page!

I like that this book touches on many topics such as love, romance, friendship, second chances, determination, morals, courage, resilience, growth, forgiveness, setting goals, dedication, starting over, soul-searching, tranquility, reflection, transition, new beginnings, overcoming obstacles, and so much more!

There are some twists and turns and unexpected moments that will keep you guessing!

This book is beautifully written and truly shows that choices we make today can affect the results of tomorrow and that those choices don’t just affect us, they affect those around us. Such an important message as I don't think many of us think about that before we act.

I have to admit, there are many times I wish I had spent more time on reflection, goal setting, and planning for the future. Many of us don’t do that until a life-threatening situation occurs or it’s too late. This book helped remind me that it’s important to make the time regardless. We’re all moving in one direction, but unless we take the time to reflect and think about which direction that we want to be going in, we’re just headed down some road blindly. It’s important to know what you want out of life and then move in that direction. I was a bit lost, just moving, but not sure where. This book helped remind me of that. I now know that I need to reflect, soul-search, and make a plan.

All in all, I enjoyed reading this book and would absolutely recommend this book to all woman’s fiction readers!

Sedona Hutton has written a well-constructed contemporary romance novel with interesting characters, complex subplots and a splash of metaphysical theory. This is a book that many will enjoy. However, if you don’t like coffee, and I prepare you a well-made cup and then flavor it with French vanilla (which you do love) you probably won’t like the beverage, no matter how well made it is or how much French vanilla I add. Right?
So, that’s the problem I have with this book. I happen to not enjoy romance novels, with all due respect to those who do. I try to avoid reviewing genres I don’t appreciate, but because of the misleading blurb, it happened. Whatever else has been mixed into the plot, at its heart, this book is written in the romance genre. From the large amount of time characters spend lusting after each other to the focus on appearance and clothes (always beautiful, always hot) the book speaks the language expected by romance readers. I don’t fault the author for doing that, and doing it well, but it’s not what I enjoy or was led to expect.
What I liked best:
1. The book is well crafted. The pacing is nice, the changing points of view are well-handled, the mix of dialog, action and description is effective.
2. The characters are the best part. They have quirks and interesting back stories and occasionally behave in unpredictable ways. I also liked her multi-generational approach. Teens act and talk like teens, older adults are believable and not relegated to bit parts. The emphasis on families is warming.
3. I genuinely enjoyed the story line about the daughter given up for adoption and her reuniting with her birth mother.
4. There is this one scene where Katie-in-a-coma gets to see the energy that connects all of humanity. I loved it.
What I liked least:
1. The book is chiefly driven by a smoldering love affair between two side characters. As much as anything, this is the story of how the two of them finally have sex.
2. I was disappointed in the metaphysical aspect. Maybe a third of the word count during the first half of the book (so like 15% of the story) is about Katie’s time in the clouds where she is being told about the Law of Attraction. Katie is supposed to be an intelligent woman, but her reaction to this philosophical education is in the vein of “I can have anything I want if I believe hard enough? Cool. Good to know.” I am certain that if I found myself on a cloud with two “beautiful” spirit guides and my dead dog and they assured me I could fix everything in my life, I would have a lot more to discuss with them.
So while I don’t recommend this book to a nerd like me, who loves sinking my teeth into a hearty analysis of metaphysical theory, I do recommend this book to anyone who likes contemporary romance and wouldn’t mind a dab of basic new age philosophy with it.

The blurb for this book really caught my attention. Being someone who also suffers from infertility issues, I am often drawn to those kinds of stories. I also really like those spiritual stories that truly have a good message and aren't beating you over the head with their ideas. So I wanted to give this one a shot.

I felt like I was reading a couple of different novels all rolled into one book. The parts where Katie is in the clouds, or transitional area, as she is trying to figure out if she is goign to live or die actually reminded me a lot of a novel called White Night by my friend Kathi Haacke Morehead. The two have similar concepts of a being (or beings) in the Afterlife trying to help the person in transition understand what it is that is going on and how to better appreciate life on Earth. This part of the book really moved me. I am quite familiar with the Law of Attraction already. But something in the way it was presented here served as a reminder to start using it again.

Part of this story also revolves around Katie's love stories. There is the love that she and her husband Liam share. There is the love that she has for her daughter, whom she had to give up at birth, and for her stepdaughter whom she has been raising as her own for the past several years. And then there is the love between her and other members of her family. Her job is to figure out what she really wants from all of those relationships, as part of her life as a whole, and to manifest them into reality.

The other sort of mini novel within this spiritual one is a contemporary romance between Shane, Liam's brother, and Liz, Katie's sister. Even without Katie's story of soul searching, this story almost could have stood on its own. A lot of the time it worked. Sometimes it felt like it was starting to detract a bit from the spiritual message being put forth. And yet everyone's story needed to be told, as they were all unfolding within this family at the same time.

The only things I didn't like about this book were Liam lost too many people to death, and Shane was just a little too rich. Again, I understand their purpose in telling the story, but I would have connected to them a little bit more if those aspects were toned down a bit.

Other than that, I really had a hard time putting this book down and devoured it in one long evening. It really did make me stop and think about some things in my life. What you are going to get out of it is going to be personal to you, as the Law of Attraction always is.

I gave this book 3 1/2 stars out of five.

Nathan Loncar (Gwendolyn’s attorney) had called & let Kathryn “Katie” Callahan (29, wife/mother, business degree) know Gwendolyn “Gwen” Shelton (cousin, client, real estate broker) had died of a heart attack.
More good news. Katie is now the guardian for Savannah Shelton (12, Gwendolyn’s daughter).
Bethesda (D.C. burb). What news did Mitch Patterson (husband/dad) have for Katie?
Liam Callahan (37, Katie’s husband, Callahan Cycles owner) had taken Katie for a motorcycle ride & he had a wreck.

ICU. Mrs. Carolyn Patterson (wife/mother), Liz Patterson (38, Katie’s sister reporter), & Shane Callahan (brother/in law), also came to visit her.
Dr. Evans was attending to her.
Gem Valley. Liam & Shane took the girls: Cara Callahan (16, daughter/step) & Sabby (Shane’s niece, Cara’s cousin) out to Bonnie’s Grill.
Seth (Callahan Cycles mechanic) seems smitten with Cara.
Big Randy’s Amarillo steakhouse. Liam, Katie, & other family members were going to meet Savannah (Katie’s daughter, 7th grade).
Uncle Warren (Colt’s son), Savannah’s grandparents: Colt, Deb, & Timber (Warren’s GF) had brought her.

Where did Shane take Liz?
What news did Liam & Katie reveal to everyone?
Who are Linnea-Posie &, Black Eagle?

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written romance book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great romantic movie, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

Cloud Whispers by Sedona Hutton is a very enjoyable book to read.

Set in the small town of Gem Valley, Cloud Whispers introduces us first to Katie Callahan and her husband Liam. Katie is shocked to learn that her cousin Gwen has died and entrusted her daughter Savannah into Katie’s care. What Katie discovers is that Savannah is actually her daughter that she gave up for adoption.

The story gets more intense when shortly after this discovery, Katie and her husband Liam get into an accident while enjoying a nice motorcycle drive. The accident injures Liam and puts Katie into a coma.

Cloud Whispers then takes on 2 different stories and 2 different points of view.

The first storyline and point of view is from Katie’s perspective. While in her coma, she awakens to find herself in the clouds . Katie befriends her 2 spirit guides and reunites with her dog and grandma. It is through her time in the clouds that Katie learns how to live, love and believe in her life’s purpose. She realizes how past life events have meaning and happen for a reason. Katie also makes decisions that will impact her future .

The second storyline reveals what Katie’s husband, family, friends and other loved ones do while Katie is in a coma. Helpless at first, they all rally together to show support for Liam and his wife, through meals, daily hospital visits to sit and talk to Katie, encouraging conversations and other helpful tasks and needs around their home and workplace.

The author does a nice job of giving her characters depth. It was easy for me to imagine all of these characters because of her descriptiveness too. I found myself laughing at some of the characters and their interactions.

While reading this book, I thought the high point of the story was when Katie woke up from her coma. But what I discovered was that after she woke up, Katie still had much unfinished business to attend to.I admired how Liam supported his wife after she revealed her secret about Savannah. I also loved how their families joined forces so as to make it all possible to reunite Katie with her daughter.

Cloud Whispers by Sedona Hutton surprised me. I found the plot twists very exciting. I enjoyed the variety of characters in this story. I would highly recommend this book.

Cloud Whispers by Sedona Hutton is the powerful story of one woman's fate and the design of second chances. The book starts with Katie Callahan learning of the death of a distant relative named Gwen with a call from an attorney to notify her that Katie had been charged with the care of a twelve-year-old girl named Savannah. In a swirl of confusion, Katie recalls a period of her teenage life where she herself had a baby and put it up for adoption. Her father quickly confirms the child is, in fact, her own biological daughter. Shocked, Katie's life is tossed into turmoil as the weight of the situation settles in. Liam, her husband, doesn't know this part of her past. As she readies herself to unveil the truth, an accident pulls what little control she had away and destiny takes over. “Whether it’s your time to transition or whether you return to Earth, we’ll be here to guide you.”

Cloud Whispers by Sedona Hutton is one of those books that comes along and very nearly takes your breath away. Beautifully written and emotionally stirring, Hutton creates a world that is neither here nor there - not on earth, and not quite the afterlife - and elegantly weaves a story that is both picturesque and enlightening. The supernatural come to life as Katie waltzes delicately around, and just out of touch, of those around her. As the story peels away in splendid layers, the heart of is revealed in a spectacular and unexpected way. I'd recommend this book to lovers of literary fiction and anyone else with the desire to escape for a brief moment into the great unknown.

I really enjoyed this story, a good woman's fiction novel with great characters.
The spiritual aspect of the story, was fun to read about, and made the story have a different twist to it, when Katie Callahan, goes into a coma after and accident and meets up with her Spiritual Guides and a favorite dog, many questions are posed and new avenue begin to become clear..
The theme,of family unity and conflicts, regrets and hopes painted a very real view of life, to me.
I did not go so much for the sexual content, as for me less is more. But that is not my choice but the authors, who saw relevance in it. For me, it just felt as if it didn't fit in with feel of the story.
The story is about the choices one makes and the consequences those choices create in ones life, and how each of these characters search within themselves to bring about change.
A very good story, with great characters and good messages that we can all learn from.
I would like to thank NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the ARC of this book.

Katie Callahan, the main character in Sedona Hutton’s Cloud Whispers is a victim early on in this novel but she is also a survivor. I enjoyed the beautiful but flawed cast of characters, particularly the close-knit Callahan clan, as well as Katie’s sister and niece. The characters were believable, making me wish I knew them in person. This book lends a twist to the standard romance novel, when spiritual guides lead Katie on a physical and emotional healing journey after an accident leaves her in a coma. I dog-eared pages to return to for the spiritual lessons. But mostly it’s the characters that propel this story of strength, loyalty and hope. I found myself cheering for them, especially when the plot gets complicated, just as you think problems have been resolved. I could definitely see this book being made into a movie.

Cloud Whispers by Sedona Hutton is a family saga of emotions, relationships and kindheartedness. I liked this book because it breathes positivity with each word and character. It is the poetry of life from the brighter side. It is like a lullaby that touches your heart and should be read at bedtime if you want to drift into a pleasant dream world. Not even for a moment does it drift into darkness even when Katie and Liam meet with a motorcycle accident, with serious repercussions.
A little far-fetched, with flawless characters whose unconditional love stands out, this book whispers a lovely message – self-belief is the key to all your dreams. If you believe that the clouds are tangible, if you are intuitive enough to float with them, you would enjoy reading this book.

Not my genre of choice as I prefer horror/supernatural stories but this was actually a nice change of pace. Sometimes in life we get so carried away in trying to please everyone from our parents to our loved ones and in this case a child given up for adoption when the lead was a teenager.
After being injured in a horrible car accident, Katie suddenly finds herself with nothing but time in which she can carefully review her life to see how she should proceed. If you are lucky enough to find a love such as Katie & Liam have, you'd be very blessed. The question is does Katie trust their love enough to find her way back so that they can add to their family.

As our world is changing, we are guided to many different things to assist us in our own personal journey. Sedona's books happened to be one of those things for me.

Cloud Whispers is an amazing, easy-read story of what many individuals may experience. I found so much joy in the way Sedona wrote the character Katie and her interactions with animals, spirits, and everything around her and within her. As I got deeper into the book, I was captivated to wanting to learn how Katie would begin her new journey.

If you want to read something that has twists and turns, incorporates the spirit realm, and possibly touches your own soul, this is a must-read for you.

"Find your purpose, your joy and live it." This is the theme of this wonderful story.
It is a book that reflects joy, happiness and peace through the main character, Katie, who is in a coma following a serious accident. She meets her spirit guides to help her with her journey both on earth and up in the clouds.
The connections with others in life are not coincidences and this is definitely displayed as you turn each page and find out what Katie learns.
I loved it!

I received a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway.

For the first few chapters, I was really enjoying this. It seemed like a unique story, and the writing was building to something that sounded really interesting. Unfortunately, once it got rolling, it veered off in a million different directions, introduced a bunch of characters who were almost impossible to keep straight, and by about 100 pages in, it had completely fallen apart. I couldn't put myself through finishing it.

Cloud Whispers is a beautifully written story with well-developed characters about an extended family whose lives are forever changed after a tragic event. While waiting for Katie to heal, the two families lives are unexpectedly brought together. While Cloud Whispers is a fictional story, it's also metaphysical and chock full of wisdom. Throughout the story, Hutton masterfully shows that life's events aren't black and white and that trials and tribulations can be transformed into a blessing.

I received a free review copy of this audiobook; however, my review is unbiased and voluntary.

So, like it says, I got this free. But nothing in the description before I got it made it clear it was a Jesus book rather than the thriller I was expecting. So I’m not even going to read it, and I can’t rate it well because I don’t appreciate that stuff being snuck in and I don’t like “spiritual” books.

This is the first book I have read from Sedona and what a super read it was. Well written it held my interest all the way through. It is quite an emotional read at times and while this is not my usual read as I am not very spiritual I really enjoyed this really interesting read and look forward to reading more from this author in the future

Very unique and lovely tale of love, loss & growth.
I was moved to tears more than once, and that's not easy :)

Tragic but also uplifting, this will tug at your emotions and make you think about life and love in a whole new way.

Lovely story, great narration, I really enjoyed it. :)
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

“ASK, BELIEVE, RECEIVE”
FIVE++ STARS FOR THIS ONE. Individuals, romance, and family dynamics are the well-developed fundamental parts of the narrative. More importantly, the wisdom from the spiritual and otherworldly discussions is what catapults this story to an awe-inspiring level. GREAT BOOK! And I loved “Pan” and “Bear” – the two adorable dogs!

It is extremely difficult to write convincingly about spirituality, positive thinking, visualization and such; especially, in a novel. Sedona Hutton does it successfully and with finesse. Marlene Cheng

Hutton’s Cloud Whispers is a fascinating mix of fiction and spiritual messages. I loved the strong characters and their evolution over the course of the story. Hutton masterfully intertwined the themes of family and forgiveness with concepts like the Law of Attraction. A highly recommended read!

Cloud Whispers
by Sedona Hutton

This book is very metaphysical. A young woman finds how she will change her life and that of her family by learning the idea of Attraction. That you bring what comes into your life by how you express your feelings and desires. She learned to be specific about her desires, and to learn to believe that things would turn out of the best if she stays positive. The story is a double love story, with two couples learning how to love and share their darkest moments with each other. Finding acceptance, and the power within everyone. A very heart warming book, with many personal lessons for the reader to ponder.

This book could not decide what it wanted to be about. It tried to be spiritual, romance, secrets , lies and a general mess. The writing was poor and the sex scenes felt like they were written by a teenage boy. Would not reccommend
