Dan Weicher is the developer of Recovering the Way, which is a fusion of Qigong, 12-step methodology and 21st century Scientific awareness. The practice evolved out of his own path in healing. His many decades of study in Recovery principles and Qigong, have merged into this trans-paradigm vision of integrated healing.

Dan is a certified teacher of Integral Qigong & Tai Chi from the IIQTC and is in private practice as a Qi Healer at Bushen Healing and Life Arts in Bedford Hills, NY. There he works with Michelle Davidson, MPS, L.Ac., Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. He has amassed over 4000 hours in study, practice and teaching both Qigong and meditative practices.

Dan is also the President and CEO of Brooklyn Flexible Packaging LLC. His Flexible Packaging business has consistently been on the forefront of sustainability and shown that environmental enhancement and economic viability are not mutually exclusive. He has been awarded numerous grants for developing protocols that reflect environmental wellness. His clients range from local Brooklyn businesses to Fortune 500 companies.

A writer and a poet, a businessman, and healer Dan's Business is located in a mixed residential/industrial section of East New York, Brooklyn which speaks to his outlook on life:  Business and Art, Science and Intuition, Body and Mind, Intention and Outcome are inextricably linked.

Dan is a teacher of Qigong, a student of Chinese Medicine, a mentor and has a robust volunteer life. He has spoken at psychiatric hospitals, halfway houses and other institutions for 20 years and has led practice sessions at The Omega Institute, Kripalu and Casa De Maria and BuShen Healing And Life Arts.

He led a pro bono practice for several years at the Moore Street Market in Brooklyn when he served as Vice President of the Brooklyn Economic Development Corp. He also served on the board of the Healer Within Foundation alongside Dr. Roger Jahnke OMD for eight years. Dan has written extensively on the value of integrating Recovery and Qigong principles for the fast paced highly stimulated life of the 21st century.
