NSIBR Hurricane Medical Relief

Florida was lucky enough to be spared by Hurricane Dorian. Unfortunately, our neighbors in the Bahamas were not. The devastation and destruction to this beautiful island and it’s people is catastrophic and heart wrenching.  Provision of urgent medical care is the country’s most pressing concern, with efforts challenged by submerged passageways and ports, limited access to electricity, and a lack of clean drinking water, to name a few. Initial assessments show that nearly 75,000 people are in need of medical aid. 

Myself and a small group of medical personnel leave aboard an otherwise empty Celebrity Cruise ship to aid in the delivery of medical services. The ship will serve as our site of triage, treatment, and surgery for as many people as we can help in our time there. 

As an ENT/head and neck surgeon with specialized training in plastic, reconstructive, and trauma surgery, I can see no better way to put my skills to use to help those in desperate need.

Please consider donating to my fund on behalf of the Nose and Sinus Institute of Boca Raton (NSIBR), the ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida (ENTAAF), and the Palm Beach County Medical Society.  We will be using any monetary donations to purchase medical and surgical supplies so that we can help as many people as possible.
